Yeah, some people are... not nice. I'm not sure if you're calling me judgemental and difficult, but... I wasn't basing my opinion on your poetry or art critique; I haven't seen anything mean there. What I was talking about was your comments back to other people. Like, I saw you comment someone's picture and when they said 'thank you', you did not seem very appreciative at that. I also saw you commented on someone's French, a person who lives in France. Maybe their spelling and grammar wasn't perfect, but it's the internet and not everyone is going to use perfect grammar and stuff. So, your commentary is not mean, but some of the things you say to people are. Maybe that's because you have been betrayed by people, but this is the internet. You have the choice of how much interaction goes on between you and other people. You can end conversations if you want, you don't need to get angry at a person.
I know I was pretty judgemental, I don't know you in real life or anything. I was basing my opinion on what I have seen, and I was curious.

You are upset that I didn't say 'thank you' to a comment on my art? Why would that concern you? And why are you following my trail of commentary on the Internet? That sounds like 'targeting someone', perhaps for the purpose of harassment. Since I have not directed any of this 'meanness' to you, I fail to see why you're interested in the matter. It is not as if I have left a trail of insulting comments directed at you. Also, I am fluent in French, and my mother is French, so I will critique someone's French if I want to. French is a language you get right or don't do at all. That is how French people see it. I agree with them-that if you want to learn the language, put in the effort and do it right.

So now my commentary is not 'mean' but my ending conversations is. I am not friends with people on this site--I don't consider Internet conversations to be real. This is not like dealing with a co-worker, friend, boyfriend or family member. Hell, it isn't even dealing with the public or someone on the street. I suggest that you never email me again or else, I will have grounds to report you to the staff at Deviant Art for harassment.

Cotterall Adams here. Just logging in to check on the prints and poetry. Anyway,wasn't aware of this issue. So it seems to be a difference of opinion. I suggest if you don't like the art or poetry, take a second look and mention what you like and don't like.
